A commercial property in Barrow town centre was sold at auction.
Number 78 on Scott Street formerly belonged to Barrow Rugby League Auxiliary Association who ran the Goldrush Lottery before they made the decision not to continue after July 2023.
The ground floor comprises a shop area with shelving, a sales counter and office space, as well as a kitchenette fitted with base units, and a two-piece WC. The first-floor accommodation includes three bedrooms.
The estate agents said the premises could ‘suit a range of uses’ and was being sold subject to a monthly rolling licence at £100 per week.
The property went under the hammer at Auction House Cumbria's monthly event at The Halston Hotel in Carlisle on Thursday.
After being put for auction with a guide price of £35,000 plus fees, the property sold for £37,500.
