A SECTION of a road will be closed for three days for utility works.
The U5220 near Backbarrow will be closed while Westmorland and Furness works are carried out.
This is anticipated to start on April 2 and take up to three days to complete.
An alternative route can be found via the U5222, A590, C5024 and the unrestricted section of the U5220.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained where required for the duration of these works.
