Cumbria police are investigating a hit and run on West Shore Road, Walney Island.
The incident happened on March 27 at about 2.40pm near the junction with Derwent Bank.
A van was in collision with a cyclist.
The driver of the van did not stop at the scene to exchange details.
The cyclist had injuries to his hands and chest.
The van was described as a black-and-grey Renault, with red and yellow tape around the back of the vehicle.
