A man from London has been charged with drug offences in Barrow.
The Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) confirmed they arrested the 25-year-old male from the capital following a stop and search in the area.
The investigation was picked up by a wider policing unit, leading to the charge of possession with intent to supply of Class A drugs, said Cumbria Police.
The male was subsequently remanded in custody.
