This comes as part of the orchestra's ongoing three year deal with Barrow to rebalance arts investment, focusing on nurturing cultural development and opportunities.

The partnership launched on January 20 at the Forum Theatre with a performance of Beethoven Symphony No 5 by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan.

Whilst being excited about the performances, the library warned: "This means that there will be some disruption to our usual services as we prepare the space for their audiences.

"From Monday until the end of the day on Wednesday, March 27, please be aware that the library's layout will be different and access to stock will be limited."
