A HOTEL is 'proud' to be sponsoring the Keswick to Barrow walk this year as the main hotel sponsor.
Holiday Inn Express Barrow-in-Furness are donating 5,000 recyclable cups, 3,400 bottles of water and 1,500 packs of biscuits to the walk this year.
Sales manager at the hotel Jenna Strickland said: "After meeting with Mark from the Keswick to Barrow committee he mentioned that water and biscuits are a huge cost.
"To be able to contribute further to the amazing work the Keswick to Barrow do for the local charities, our team decided they also wanted to walk and raise money.
"The hotel team will be walking for mental health UK and we have plenty of spaces available for anyone who is travelling to Barrow who isn’t already part of a team.
"We are also offering discounted accommodation that includes a 4am breakfast and walkers' goody bag."
