The brothers behind a Michelin-starred restaurant in the Lake District have earned yet more recognition for their work.

Ryan and Craig Blackburn, who run the Old Stamp House in Ambleside, have been included in the eleventh edition of the Kuits NRB Top Fifty Power List 2024.

This was announced at the opening of Northern Restaurant & Bar (NRB), the annual hospitality trade show held in Manchester.

Restaurant manager and co-owner Craig said: ‘’Ryan and I are always taken aback when you receive any form of recognition.

"We’re both massively passionate and are always striving to be better by developing and growing – there’s always something new to learn and we pro-actively go out of way to try to do just that.’’

Each year the list is judged by a panel of hospitality experts from across the north of England, who undertake a rigorous research and selection process to ensure finalists represent the very best operators in the highly competitive northern hospitality scene.

The culmination of this process reveals a final list that recognises the hospitality operators who have each demonstrated growth and resilience in the last year.

"There’s no doubt that the industry has been through some very difficult times, and indeed still is," Craig added.

"However, this particular award is testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team, who are on this journey with us.

"Congratulations to everyone who features in the list this year, businesses that are doing it right and are helping to put the north firmly on the hospitality map."
