People living in Walney have been advised to be more vigilant after a number of car break-ins were reported.
The Walney Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) revealed that they are investigating a number of vehicle interferences and thefts from vehicles in the Walney area on February 17 between midnight and 4am.
The team urged residents to remember to lock their vehicles whenever they are left unattended.
They also added that it is best to make sure that any items of value or personal belongings should not be left on display in your car.
They asked that residents report any suspicious activity whenever they come across something.
