Concerns over speeding in Walney have prompted Simon Fell to respond to community complaints.
The MP for Barrow and Furness will be hosting an event at the King Alfred Pub on Tuesday February 13 at 6pm to allow residents to air their grievances.
Mr Fell explained: "Following a good number of emails from constituents in December regarding concerns over speeding on specific Walney roads, I raised this with the Cumbria police and the Highways Team at Westmorland and Furness Council who are responsible for management of these highways to investigate this further.
"I invite all concerned, local residents to attend and will be in touch with Walney councillors and police to join as well."

Most recently, the police have responded to concerns about the frequency of speeding on the island by implementing a new SID on Ocean Road.
