A group designed to help old people in the community who feel lonely is returning to Grange-over-Sands next week.
The Compassionate Café is organised by Home Instead South Lakes, who operate at Meadowbank House in Kendal.
Having recently run the café in their home town on Tuesday, the healthcare service at Victoria Hall in Grange on February 1 between 1:30pm and 3:00pm.
The organisers said: "Our Community Angels will be ready to welcome you with a free hot drink and scone - with jam and cream!
"Getting older can sometimes mean you feel lonely and isolated, so join us and meet others in the community and find out what support is available."
