NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven south Cumbria establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.
The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Costa Coffee at Unit 33 Elephant Yard, Kendal; rated on December 28
• Rated 5: Boardwalk Bar & Grill at Hanse Building, Gilly's Lane, Bowness; rated on December 21
• Rated 5: The Cafe at Lakeland at Alexandra Buildings, Thwaites Lane, Windermere; rated on December 19
And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: Heft Inn & Restaurant at High Newton, Grange; rated on December 21
• Rated 5: The Royal Oak at Lindale, Grange; rated on December 21
Plus two ratings for takeaways:
• Rated 5: Staveley Chippy at 3 Main Street, Staveley; rated on December 22
• Rated 5: The Beehive at 22 Main Street, Staveley; rated on December 22
