DRIVERS are being warned ahead of a road closure set to be completed by next month.
A section of Thorny Nook Lane on Walney Island is currently closed while works are being carried out by Westmorland and Furness
The work started on November 13 and it is planned to be completed by December 3.
An alternative route can be found via the unrestricted section of Thorny Nook Lane, Carr Lane, Ocean Road (A590) and Biggar Bank Road.
Due to the nature of the restriction, it is not possible to maintain access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists through the site.
