A free toy shop will be opening for a day in November to help families in the lead up to Christmas.
The shop is set to be opened at St Paul's School Hall in Barrow on November 25, running from 10:30am until 12:30pm.
The aim is to help people in the area combat the Cost of Living Crisis at a time when personal costs reach their zenith.
Books, toys, puzzles, wrapping paper and gift tags will be some of the items on offer, all displayed on tables available to be taken at no cost.
With the help, the event organisers are hoping that it should reduce the stress of the festive season at least a small bit for struggling families.
