A NEW comedy festival will be coming to Ford Park, Ulverston, at the beginning of September.
Pitch Up Comedy Festival will be on September 2, and will feature comedians Angelos Epithemiou, Jimmy Cricket, Fiona Allen, Clinton Baptiste, Brennan Reece, Simon Wozniak, Tez Ilyas, Kate Martin, Percy Savage, Elaine Fellows and Faizen Syed.
50 per cent of the fees will be given to the Ford Park Community.
James Bonner, from Pitch Up Events, said: "This is an event we're really excited about. We first had the idea when we went to a comedy festival in Greenwich Park (London) and wanted to bring it to the area.
"We’ve been lucky that we’ve been able to partner with Jason Manford's Comedy Club so that we’ll have some of the biggest names in comedy as well as rising stars in the industry.
"As well as the comedy we will also have music, great food vendors and bar."
