MOTORISTS can expect delays on the M6 this morning after a vehicle fire.

The incident is affecting traffic on the M6 northbound between J36 and J37, near Kendal.

A National Highways spokesman said: “Two lanes (of three) remain closed following a lorry fire earlier this morning.

“Causing a delay of 30 mins and congestion for approximately four miles.

“Allow extra time if heading that way this morning.”
