Lowther Castle will be hosting all manner of creepy, family friendly, educational events across October half-term.
The activities will involve a variety of different things including hands on demonstrations with a collection of different animals such as snakes, spiders and other creepy crawlies. Along with pumpkin carving, broomstick making, and a slime workshop, is a tour of the grounds and it's ghost stories. Ghosts of the castle will be making an appearance courtesy of Ullswater Community College and Highly Suspect.
Tickets will cost £9 for adults and £7 for children under-15, this will rise to £9.50 and £7.50 in the evening respectfully. Halloween workshops will be £3.50 for any kids with tickets, or £5 without admission to the grounds.
