AN experienced pilot captured a stunning image of Walney from the air during a recent flight.
Graham Sturgeon, an instructor with the Lakes Gliding Club, took the picture on Thursday.
The Lakes Gliding Club operates from Walney Airfield most weekends from around 10am. Anyone old or young can learn and it's generally s easy as driving a car.
