THEFT: Cash and cigarettes were stolen from the Quix store
POLICE are hunting burglars who stole a large amount of cigarettes and cash from a Barrow convenience store.
The Quix store in Roose Road was targeted overnight on Saturday, police have said.
Officers said "a large quantity of cigarettes and cash" was stolen during the break-in which was discovered when staff arrived to open up on Sunday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
