A MAN who drove a scooter without a helmet while over the drink drive limit has been banned from the road.
Nathan Barker, 25, of Dover Street, Walney had 66mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath when he was stopped on Mawflat Lane in Walney on September 21 this year. The legal limit is 35mcgs.
He admitted drink driving and driving while not wearing protective headgear.
He was fined £310 and ordered to pay a £31 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
He was also banned from driving for 36 months.
