JAX is just six months old and a lovely friendly boy in need of a permanent home.

At the moment this young cat is being looked after by animal charity, the RSPCA.

He has really endeared himself to his carers with is playful nature and this grey tabby would make a wonderful pet for any cat loving family, couple or singlse owner.

Robbie is another new cat at the Barrow and Furness RSPCA and again the ginger and white five year old has a friendly nature.

Still in need of a forever home is ten-year-old Faith who has featured on our pets page before in The Mail.

Faith has had some dental work carried out after coming into the charity's care in a bit of a state.

Her carers have put a lot of time and effort into Faith to ensure this little black moggy has now come back stronger and better than ever.

She is even being looked after in a foster home and has proved to be very chilled out and enjoys lots of attention.

Faith does not mind small furries and loves her food.

She certainly deserves a permanent home.

Casper is still in need of a new home after his loving owner very sadly died.

He struggles with life in the shelter but is normally a friendly and playful tabby even at the age of 11.

He is in very good health and the RSPCA would really love to find him the home he deserves and needs.

Casper loves his food and being made a fuss of.

White cat Choccy is around six years old and came into the shelter with fluffy, an 18-month-old female.

Choccy is very very friendly and good mates with Fluffy so it would be nice if they could go together, but it is not essential.

Blackie is a five-year-old female who likes to be stroked, but is very quiet and likes to sit on her bed.

Because of her quiet nature, Blackie has had no interest from people coming to look at the cats.

This is very sad and it would be so good to find her a proper home.

Like all of the animals up for rehoming with the RSPCA, Blackie has been neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped and is now ready to leave the shelter.

For further details or to arrange a visit to see the cats please call the RSPCA on 01229 824583 during the office hours of Mondays and Wednesdays 9am until noon, and 1pm to 4pm and Thursdays 9am until 1pm.
