MAGISTRATES jailed a man for eight weeks after he admitted dangerous driving.
Carl Benjamin Johnson Hartley, 36, of Rawlinson Street was sent to prison when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court this week.
The court heard he drove dangerously at Cornmill Crossing in a silver Ford Focus on June 6 this year while on licence.
He was also banned from driving for 22 months and told to pay a £115 victim surcharge.
No court costs were sought due to the custodial sentence.
