St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston
Two worthy Cumbrian causes are celebrating after scooping community funding from a leading regional builder.
St Mary’s Hospice in Ulverston and Broughton Moor Community Centre have each been awarded £1,000 from the Persimmon Homes Community Champions fund.
John Roocroft, managing director at Persimmon Homes Lancashire, said: “Our Community Champions are the organisations that make a real difference to their neighbourhood, and both of these are excellent examples. We are very proud to support the sterling work they do for local people."
