A TOWN council is searching for a new councillor.
Dalton Town with Newton Town Council is looking for a new member to represent the Dowdales ward.
No election is required and anyone who wants to apply should write to the town clerk before October 1.

Councillors will discuss local issues and advise on planning applications.
