Mind in Furness chief officer Karen Mahaffy said: “ This is our 3rd year delivering MindFest in Millom and we wouldn't be able to do it without the hard work of our amazing Millom staff and volunteer team, Jakki and her team at the Beggar's Theatre and the generosity of the Millom community. All the artists give their time freely, and recognise the importance of promoting our mental health support services which is fantastic. Our staff have worked really hard over the last few years to develop a positive presence in Millom ensuring people have access to mental health support service via our Safe Space Drop In, the Building Better Opportunities project and our Millom Shop and Information Centre. This annual event showcases local talent, raises much needed funds for our services in Millom and raises awareness of the issues of poor mental health. Music is a great way to bring people together." "We're incredibly grateful for everybody's help in making Mind Fest happen."

Organiser and Mind in Furness Support Worker, Kenny Tyson, said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to Tosh Steel Fabrications and Groundworks and Recycling for sponsoring the event for a the second consecutive year. Also a massive thanks to Jakki from the Beggar's Theatre for not only holding the event at for the third year but also for all the help in organising the event.A big shout out and thank you to all the generous business and people of Millom who have kindly donated raffle prize for the event and the support that you have given the event and us at Mind in Furness.
