SUPPLY chain companies have been invited to share their stories at an event in Cumbria next week
The Federation of Small Businesses is offering the opportunity for firms to get together at the Abbey House Hotel in Barrow to talk through their involvement in the Cumbrian supply chain.
There will be guest speakers from electronics firm Bender UK, of Ulverston, and Barrow contractor accommodation specialists, Maritime Apartments.
Stuart Klosinski, programme and project manager with Furness Economic Development Forum, will talk about upcoming opportunities and the support available to local businesses.
A federation spokesman said: "We have invited local businesses to come along and share their stories of how they became involved in the local supply chain. The ups and downs, the hurdles and the rewards will hopefully inspire others to explore opportunities for businesses."
