A HISTORY group is preparing to take a walk through time in Duddon Valley.
The Duddon Valley Local History Group will be taking their first walk of their 2018 programme to showcase the history of the valley.
The walk will feature Quaker burial site, historic quarries, a ghostly farmstead and more.
Walkers will meet on September 29 at Broughton Square at 10am or Ulpha Bridge at 10.30am and then head to the hills on the 5.5 mile walk.
The route is easy to moderate in difficulty. Call walk leader Ken Day on 01229 716113 for more information.
