UFOs spotted over Cumbria

UFOs have been spotted visiting Ravenglass.

Unexplained lights were seen off the Copeland shore only weeks after a flurry of UFO activity was reported in Barrow.

A witness said there were two lights together then one veered off to the north. Both lights were said to head down to sea level and back up again before shooting off at speed with no noise.

The report was submitted on January 24 to specialist website North West UFO Research by Southport coastguard officer Paul Harrison, on behalf of a colleague based in Cumbria.

It is still not known what the objects were.

At the start of the year keen-eyed Evening Mail readers contacted the paper after seeing strange objects between December 25 and 27.

The sightings were later revealed to be Chinese lantern balloons released by a couple from Askam during their wedding celebration.

North West UFO research was set up by Welsh author Pat Regan as a contact point for UFO spotters.
