Last updated at 13:45, Wednesday, 03 December 2008
TWO Streetsafe events with a difference are set to take place this week.
Tomorrow evening police, firefighters and other partners will be talking to customers in the Furness Railway pub in Abbey Road, Barrow.
They will be speaking about safety at night, promoting “know your limits” and talking about fire safety in the run up to Christmas.
On Tuesday from 3pm police and other agencies will be at Furness General Hospital.
They will be speaking to staff, patients and hospital neighbours.
They hope to speak to 1,000 people during the event.
