£5m bank package for top ideas

CUMBRIA entrepreneurs are getting set to find out whether they will receive a funding package of up to £5m, free of interest and charges, as the finalists for the Bank of Scotland Corporate Entrepreneur Challenge are announced ahead of the North West England and North Wales final on November 20.
The bank says entries from around the UK have doubled.
The lucky finalists will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to present their business ideas to a judging panel of top business figures.
Each regional winner will go forward to a national final where one overall winner will be crowned 2008 Entrepreneur of the Year.
