Prospective MP slams home packs

THE Tory would-be MP for Westmorland and Lonsdale claims home information packs are fuelling problems in the housing market.
Mr McKeever has now called upon Prime Minister Gordon Brown to suspend the system in a bid to boost the economy.
The Morgan Stanley director said: “I believe urgent action is needed to kick-start the housing market in Westmorland and Lonsdale.
“But the Labour Government is dithering – and its spin and speculation over stamp duty is further undermining the market by making buyers wait and see.”
