FARMERS across South Lakeland and Furness remain excluded from the bluetongue protection zone.
He has tabled a parliamentary Early Day Motion to quiz ministers on the issue.
Mr Farron said: “The government’s refusal to provide Cumbria with a clear answer for when they will be vaccinated is extremely worrying for local farmers.
“These vaccinations must be administered immediately, so that farmers are able to get their livestock to market.”
He added: “Without any action, farmers could face restrictions which would cause real hardship.”
