Week to find your Real Deal treasures
Published at 15:37, Friday, 26 October 2012
THERE is just a week left to dust off your attic treasures ready for the first visit to Barrow of the television team from Dickinson’s Real Deal.
Celebrity presenter David Dickinson will be based at Barrow Sixth Form College, in Rating Lane, on Saturday November 3 with a team of eager antiques dealers and advice from David Brookes of 1818 Auctioneers.
Furness people will get the chance to lock horns with a group of antiques dealers to try and extract as much money as possible for their valuables.
Anyone who can’t agree a cash deal can opt to sell their items through 1818 Auctioneers in the hope of getting more.
The Barrow items will be sold in a January sale at the firm’s new base near the M6 at Crooklands.
Members of the public should bring their antiques along on November 3 but it would help if you could call the team in advance about their items.
Call the DRD hotline 0117 970 7618 or check out the website on http://www.itv.com/lifestyle/realdeal/
You can also visit twitter: @ITVRealDeal, search for ITVRealDeal on Facebook or write to The Dickinson’s Real Deal Team, RDF Television West, Regent House, Regent Street, Clifton, Bristol, BS8 4HG.
