JOHN DUFFIN, 48, artist: "What I love about Barrow is the beaches, especially Biggar Bank and Roanhead. I miss those beaches. I still do the same walk along them when I get back from London.
"The shoreline is unchanged, there's something eternal about them. The beaches shape the town, they are a real asset to Barrow."
I was born and brought up in Barrow. I left when I got married but I still love to go back to visit whenever I can. Barrow has a beautiful park and lovely beaches. I feel very fortunate to have spent my childhood there.
