Eleanor Graham, a 26-year-old primary school teacher married her sixth form sweetheart Andrew Benn, a 26-year-old operations engineer at BAE on Saturday August 13, 2016. The pair celebrated with a stunning Italian-themed reception and an all-American honeymoon trip of a lifetime

How they met: In 2006 the couple met at Barrow Sixth Form College when they were in the same ICT class. Six months later Andy asked Ellie to be his girlfriend after their first date to the cinema.

Proposal: Andy proposed on the couples 3,000th day of being together. He then arranged a week of surprises for Ellie.

Venue: St Mary's Church, Walney.

Theme: "Italian Countryside" which was based on the couple's 2015 summer holiday touring Italy.

Bride's Outfit: An ivory Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner gown with embroidered appliques, crystal beading, a satin waistband and soft tulle skirt from the Bridal Collection in Lancaster.

Groomsmen: Thomas Park (best man), Thomas Benn, Zak Coward, Liam Howard and Greg Reynolds.

Chief bridesmaids: Charlotte Graham and Ashleigh Forbes.

Bridesmaids: Mary Graham, Sarah White, Justine Leigh and Shaunna Leigh.

Flowers: Sunflowers, cream roses and gypsophila from Oasis, Barrow. The bride and bridesmaids decorated the end of the Church pews with sunflowers, hessian and gypsophila.

Hair/Make up: Carly from the Hair Lounge did the bride's hair and Janine from Blades did the bridesmaids' hair. Make-up was done by freelance make-up artist Kay Booth.

Transport: A cream Rolls-Royce supplied by Heysham Limos, Morecambe.

Reception: The Villa, Levens.

Table settings: Each table was named after cities the couple visited during their tour of Italy. Wooden log centre pieces had a lantern, a photo of the couple in the respective Italian city, a decorated wine bottle with a sunflower in and a decorated jam jar with gypsophila in.

Favours: Homemade limoncello made by the couple and a personalised packet of sunflower seeds.

Cake: A four-tier confection of fruit cake, lemon sponge, chocolate orange and Victoria sponge layers made by Juz Bakes, Walney.

First Dance: Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol sang live by singing waiters.

Entertainment: Singing in the Church and venue by Tiffany Southward, singing waiters by The Singing Staff, a disco and DJ by Celebration Disco and fireworks by Phenomenal Fireworks, Wigan.

Honeymoon: An American tour which the couple had always dreamed of to New York, Orlando, Miami, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The couple finished their spectacular trip with a helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon.
