How they met: On a night out in Manhattans Nightclub in Barrow.
Proposal: David proposed on Christmas Day. He gave Leanne a teddy bear holding a cracker, which she at first thought was just an ordinary present. When she heard the cracker rattling she was convinced to pull it and out fell a diamond ring.
Venue: The ceremony and reception were both held at Abbey House Hotel, Barrow.
Theme: The wedding was themed around construction because David’s family own Marsh Plant Hire & Contracting Ltd and David has been around diggers since he was a little boy. The couple had JCB Song by Nizlopi playing while they signed the wedding register and named the tables at their reception after various well-known construction brands such as JCB and Caterpillar.
Bride’s outfit: A flounced ivory mermaid gown with vintage pearl and beading from Eternity by Nina, Barrow. Leanne’s veil was by Richard Designs British made bridal accessories.
Groomsmen: Keiron Delaney (best man), Liam Page, William Marsh, Marc Taylor.
Pageboys: Joseph, Bailey and Lexon Marsh.
Bridesmaids: Gina Haase (maid of honour), Stephanie Whiley, Rachael Tigwell and Jess Atkinson.
Flowergirls: Alicia Bowes, Halle Holland and Harleigh Charnley.
Flowers: Loosley-tied, handmade bouquets of orchids, peonies, hydrangeas, David Austin roses, Avalanche Ivory roses, Speak Ivory roses and Miss Piggy roses by Dodd’s Designer Florist, Ulverston.
Transport: A Rolls Royce limousine provided by Dovecote Wedding Cars, Dalton.
Table settings: Special Occasions, Barrow.
Favours: Viennese truffles and Sicilian lemon chocolates from Thorntons.
Cake: A four-tiered confection with layers of classic vanilla sponge, cookies and cream, pink lemonade and lemon dream created by Corr’s Cakes, Barrow.
First Dance: Still Falling For You by Ellie Goulding.
Entertainment: DJ set by Pete Murphy.
Honeymoon: The couple will travel to Turkey for a later honeymoon in 2017.
