Barrow love birds Amy Harris, a 26-year-old cafe assistant at The Last Resort Coffee Shop married 27-year-old Rob Purcell, 29-year-old mechanical fitter for EDF Energy on Saturday 28 May 2016.
How they met: The couple met four years ago watching our beloved Liverpool FC football club in the kings arms pub.
Proposal: Rob took Amy on a surprise holiday to Rome to propose, she had no idea.
Reception: Grange Hotel, Grange-Over-Sands.
Theme: 1920's Art Deco, as the couple love the glamour of that era. The Great Gatsby was a great source of inspiration and they decided to use Gatsby quotes throughout.
Bride's outfit: Amy wore a stunning champagne, mermaid style dress by Ronald Joyce, which was adorned in diamantes and beads and had a draped diamante necklace on the back.
Bridesmaids: The bride's sister Ellie Harris, the groom's sister Kim Purcell, Amy Woods, Gemma Woodburn, Zoe Davey and Hannah Mckenna. Hair was done by the brides's cousin Stacey Williams.
Flowergirls: The couples' two nieces Bailey Harris and Mollie Johnson.
Groomsmen: Micheal Cherry and Christopher Paton (both best man), Father of the bride and the groom David Harris and David Eccles and brothers of the bride and groom, Joe Harris and David Purcell.
Pageboy: Pharrell Comish.
Flowers: Sweet Avalanche, vendella and champagne roses with dark green foliage,trailing eucalyptus and spider grass all adorned with big white ostrich feathers, diamante brooches and pearl garlands.
The bridesmaids held hand-tied bouquets of pale pink astilbe and the flowergirls carried small bouquets of roses and gypsophila.
The men wore pale pink roses for button holes,with the groom and page boy wearing matching champagne roses on a white feather. All provided by the wonderful Grange Flower Service.
Transport: The guests were all transported via coaches from Travellers Choice.
Reception: Grange Hotel, Grange-over-Sands. After a drinks reception of Corona or Prosecco, there was choice of three starters, three mains and three desserts all with either still or sparkling wine.
The tables were covered by champagne overlays, with scattered crystals on mirrors and tealights in gold mercury glass holders. The couple chose ivory chair covers with champagne and lace bows, all provided by the lovely Ambience Venue Styling in Bowness.
Favours: The ladies recieved wedding day Yankee candles, wrapped them in gold tissue paper and lace, tied them with gold ribbon and fastened on a silver diamante brooch, put together by the bride and her mother. The men recieved gold envelopes with scratch cards inside and age appropriate favours for the children, including, spinning tops, colouring books, lip glosses and teething rings.
Cake: A four tiered, square art deco style cake in cream and gold decorated with beads, ostrich feathers and the Great Gatsby iconic fan. It was chocolate and salted caramel, vanilla and rasberry and lemon drizzle made by the Mixing Bowl Bakery in Barrow.
First Dance: I wanna be yours - Arctic Monkeys, performed by Shed Sessions. The couple both really love music and attend a lot of concerts and festivals together. They had song lyrics from their favourite bands as table numbers, with the top table being 'You'll never walk alone as a tribute to their love for Liverpool FC.
Amy also walked down the aisle to the Liverpool anthem played by the string quartet-Intermezzo. After the band played at the reception a DJ entertained guests for the rest of the evening and there was a retro games table set up with retro sweets and photo task sheets for the kids.
