Barrow lovebirds Amy Griffiths, a 24-year-old early years teacher, and Jason Newton, a 27-year-old supervisor at BAE Systems, were married in a stunning summer ceremony on Friday August 12.
How they met: At a mutual friend's birthday party in Barrow.
Proposal: Jay proposed at Manchester airport in May 2015. Amy was returning from a hen do in Marbella and Jay was waiting for her with signs saying 'will you marry me?' Amy of course said yes!
Venue: St Mary's Church, Barrow.
