As we move towards 2017, the fitness craze powered by Instagrammers, vloggers and personal trainers turned life coaches is only set to get bigger.

When it comes to women's fitness, there is one trend that hasn't waned and that is the bootcamp craze.

All-female bootcamps seem to appeal to women because of their strict, almost military-style exercise regime, set meal plans and team nature.

Now, we are seeing the next phase of bootcamping introduced in the UK, more tailored packages, designed to target more specific groups of women and who better than brides-to-be!

Whether shy and demure or an absolute bridezilla, all women want to look their best on their wedding day. However, finding the motivation can sometimes be a little tricky.

Ulverston-based personal trainer Annaliese Sales, 28, is now pioneering the first Bride-To-Be-Bootcamp in south Cumbria, which she will run from Ulverston Leisure Centre. Miss Sales, who lives in Kennedy Road, Ulverston, said: "I have only just announced that the bootcamps will start running from January, but I have already had plenty of interest, which is very positive.

"I think all brides just want to look their best on their special day and I want to help with a plan tailored to their needs.

"I have also teamed up with Jules Hair & Beauty Salon in Barrow so that brides who do the bootcamp will be able to get a free goody bag and book their wedding party's hair for a discounted price."

Annaliese, who is a former Ulverston Victoria pupil, is a qualified nutritionist and dietitian and will be helping the brides with their own healthy eating programmes. It has been voiced by many health and fitness experts that achieving the body you want is 70 per cent nutrition and 30 per cent exercise so Annaliese will provide a killer combination of both to get the ladies in tip top condition.

Annaliese also plans to mix up her workouts to keep her future brides interested, she said: "I want to do something different every week. There will be a three-hour training session each week and they could be anything from circuits or an outdoor run to speed and agility training.

"My personal focus isn't on making myself the fittest, fastest or strongest but to enjoy sport and exercise, and that is what I hope to bring to others when I am training them. I want to encourage others to reach their aims and goals, whatever they may be."

Annaliese will organise weekly weigh-ins to keep the women motivated and hopes that a group dynamic with brides and their bridesmaids will help to make working out more enjoyable.

As an athlete Annaliese has experience in outdoor pursuits education, ski instruction, rowing training and she also trains Ulverston's highly popular Triathlon Club. This year she is working towards competing in an iron distance triathlon in June 2017. This type of events usually consists of a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride and a marathon (26.22 miles).

How To Be The Perfect Bride And Groom

BRIDE

1. Be open to ideas. Whether they be from friends, family or a wedding planner.

2. Try to avoid making all the decisions yourself. Remember your partner would want to get involved, encouraging them to make decisions will give them less reasons to develop cold feet.

3. The dress. Although a big expensive dress can seem like the most important decision you make, remember that most grooms tend to see them as a waste of money so ensure you justify your budget. After all, you only wear the dress once in a lifetime so they have a good point.

GROOM

1. Get involved in the wedding and be a part of the decision making process.

2. Traditional weddings tend to focus around the bride so don’t feel overlooked or under appreciated. While looking good is important for the bride, being an all-rounded good host is more of the groom’s role and this is what makes everyone enjoy your big day.

3. Be mindful of the communication and relationship between your bride and your mother. The groom’s mother often tends to be very over protective of their son.
