Young couple attacked in Barrow car park

A YOUNG couple have been assaulted in a serious attack in a Barrow car park.
A group of five youths attacked an 18-year-old man and his 20-year-old girlfriend as they walked home following a night out.
The attack took place in the car park of the Tesco store in Hindpool Road, Barrow, at around 1.55am on Thursday.
The couple became involved in a verbal altercation with three males and two females, all described as in their late teens, before the group attacked them.
One male punched the 18-year-old in the face knocking him to the floor before the group began punching and kicking and stamping on his body and face, before attacking his girlfriend who was left with a black eye and minor scratches.
Police have issued descriptions of the attackers one male was said to be around 5ft 11in wearing a grey hooded jumper, one male was wearing a dark jacket and the third male was wearing a beanie hat, one of the women was described as wearing a pink jumper, with a white body warmer with blonde shoulder length hair.

What a dreadful thing to happen, here's hoping the victims are on the mend. Lets hope the Police treat this in the way that it should be and lock up the vile group and throw away the key, because lets face it how many times do thugs like them get away with these terrible acts, as they no how to play the system and the police! Oh they should be so very proud of themselves...THE COWARDS...

Its about time these thugs get what they deserve! It happens too often where a group of youths itimidate people, its just a shame that it got physical with this young couple. I will certainly think twice before walking home on my own in the evenings! Unfortunately the police seem to do very little in these situations, surprisingly there never seems to be enough evidence! Get them sent down and see how hard they feel then!!! Hope the couple a speedy recovery and dont let them get you down!
