Woman breaks "most of her bones" in Barrow fall

A WOMAN who fell from the window of a flat in Barrow broke "most of her bones", say police.

At about 4pm yesterday police were called after the woman fell from a second floor flat window in Rawlinson Street.

Officers attended and the woman, who is local and in her thirties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A police spokeswoman said: "The woman remains in a serious condition in hospital after breaking most bones in her body.

"Police are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident."

Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact Barrow police on 101.

What was the womans name and what the latest on her condition I work in the garage nextdoor to where the incident happened and heard the thud of her hitting the floor was awful
