DECIDING where to go on honeymoon is definitely one of the most exciting parts of planning your wedding celebration.

In our fabulous competition to celebrate the launch of Cumbria Weddings magazine we’ve teamed up with the 5-star Kempinski Hotel Group to offer one lucky couple the honeymoon of a lifetime in one of three superb destinations.

Whether you are looking for a luxurious beach holiday, an exciting city break or an exotic getaway, we have it covered in our super competition.

The winner of our honeymoon competition, can choose from one week’s holiday for two people at the Grand Hotel Geneva, the Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul or Kempinski Hotel Giardino di Costanza in Sicily.

The holiday is being offered on a bed and breakfast board basis and includes flights from Manchester.

The date you choose to take your break is subject to availability at the hotels. The holiday must be taken before December 2013.

To help you decide which honeymoon would suit you best, we’ve put together a brief guide to each destination:

Sicily

Sicily is the biggest Island of the Mediterranean sea. The Kempinski Hotel Giardino di Costanza is located in the western side near Mazara del Vallo, one hour from the international airport of Palermo.

Set in Western Sicily, the hotel is surrounded by Sicilian heritage and history. Giardino di Costanza boasts a wide range of activities for guests, including activities such as tennis and swimming, as well as tours of Sicily by limousine, helicopter and boat.

Istanbul

Ciragan Palace Kempinski is situated on the European shores of the Bosphorus, located between the districts of Besiktas and Ortakoy and 10 minutes’ drive to Taksim.

Istanbul is widely regarded as one of the most colourful, vibrant and architecturally impressive cities in Europe. The Ciragan Palace reflects this, with the rich tradition of genuine hospitality and refined luxury. Guests are treated to the full grandeur and heritage of Turkey’s largest city.

Guest facilities include: the infinity pool, a spa and fitness centre, a shopping centre and hair salon and exclusive tours of Istanbul by road, air and water.

Geneva

As picturesque a setting as you could wish for, the Grand Hotel Kempinski Geneva is located on the shores of Lake Geneva, with a direct view of the Jet d’eau and Mont Blanc. Geneva, as a city, strikes the perfect balance between chic new restaurants and luxury boutiques, the fast paced hive of activity around the UN and the history and quaint nature of medieval architecture found just a stone’s throw away in the Old Town.

The hotel caters for a wide range of guest’s need. Amongst the facilities on offer are a fitness studio, a spa and swimming pool as well as shopping facilities. For those who want to see the city and the surrounding area in style, a Ferrari driven by your own personal driver may be something to consider.

Geneva is a magical place, throbbing with activity and achievement and The Grand Hotel is at the centre of this cauldron of activity.
