Ulverston students win opening round of contest

ULVERSTON'S secondary school was victorious in the opening round of a competition for schools.

Ulverston Victoria High School won round one heat one of the Top of the Form contest last night.

UVHS  scored 440 points to Cartmel Priory CE School's 380 points when they went head to head at Dowdales School, in Dalton.

In heat two of the science, technology, engineering and maths competition Kirkbie Kendal School won with 405 points to Chetwynde School's 350 points.
