Ulverston infant school expansion plans get green light

AN Ulverston infant school is set to extend its age range from September.

Cumbria County Council’s cabinet today voted in favour of Ulverston Church of England Infant School, in Church Walk, becoming a full primary school.
Members said it was “the right thing to do” and would benefit families in the area.
The change will take place in stages, with one new year group being added each year until the school caters for pupils from the age of four through to 11.
