Two charged after Barrow burglary

TWO men have been charged after a house was burgled in Barrow.

Karl Jason Turner, 39, of Emlyn Street, Barrow, and David Cottier, 46, of Egerton Court, Barrow, are due to appear in Furness Magistrates' court on March 5.

They have been charged with burglary with intent to steal.

A police investigation was launched after a burglary occurred at a home in Wordsworth Street where a family with young children lived.

This happened at around 12.45am on Friday and it is believed the offender or offenders left with nothing after being disturbed by the people who live there.
