Trains between Cumbria and London delayed by up to 45 minutes

TRAINS between London Euston and Carlisle are being delayed due to signalling problems at Alsager.

Journeys between Stoke-on-Trent and Crewe are being delayed by up to 45 minutes. 

An amended service is running between those two stations. 

A statement on the National Rail Enquiries website said: "There is no current estimate for when a normal service will resume."
