Rescue team helps man following six-feet plunge

LANGDALE and Ambleside Mountain Rescue Team was called out to help a man who fell around six feet and suffered a head injury.

The man had been on the Coffin Route between Grasmere and Ambleside, near to White Moss, when he fell on Sunday.

The rescue team patched him up and carried him down to a waiting ambulance.

Have your say

'Plunge'? 'Six foot'??? Hardly the stuff of sensationalist headlines, is it?!
