POLICE say they have not given up hope of finding a Barrow dad-of-two who has been missing for a month.
Tony Bond, 40, was last seen more than four weeks ago and his family and Barrow police continue to appeal for him to get in touch and let everyone know he is safe and well.
Mr Bond is described as white, 5ft 10in with mousey coloured cropped hair , and a rugged complexion.
Shortly before he was reported missing on November 9, he was seen in Abbotsmead Approach, Barrow, wearing a white polo top and blue jeans.
Police believe he was in the area of the roundabout at Schneider Road/Ainslie Street, Barrow around 10.30pm on November 9 and ask for anyone in the area at that time to cast their minds back and try and remember if they saw him walking along the street. Police believe he may have been wearing a Berghaus style red jacket and jeans a black t shirt and blue Addidas trainers .
Police, along with the family and friends of Mr Bond, are growing increasingly worried for his wellbeing and are eager to receive any information which may help to confirm that he is safe.
Detective Chief Inspector Bob Qazi said: “We are continually appealing for information about Tony, we stress that he is not in any trouble, we just want to make sure he is ok. Tony is a family man who is very close to his children and wider family who are very worried about him and keep asking when is he coming home.
“It is possible that he could have travelled to a different part of the county or even outside of Cumbria. We are not giving up hope of finding him and appeal to everyone to look at the picture and let us know if you have seen him. As far as we know Tony does not have any access to money and may be living rough somewhere.
“If you see or speak to him, please contact us immediately at Barrow police on 101, or if you believe you know where he is or find anything out of place in any out building, let us know. Any small piece of information could led us to finding him and bringing him home to his family.”
If you have any information, please contact Barrow police on 101.
