Police hunt two men after Cumbria street fight leaves 22-year-old with serious injuries

CUMBRIA Police are investigating a report of a fight which took place around 3.30am today and left a man with serious injuries.

Police and ambulance staff attended the scene on Scotby Road, Carlisle and conveyed a man from Carlisle to hospital where he is receiving treatment for injuries which are serious but not life threatening.

Officers are keen to speak to two men seen running away from the area in the direction of the Post Office on Scotby Road, one is described as heavy set with a shaved head and white shirt, one was wearing a white cap.
