Teenage outfit bring jazz funk to Bar 20

JAZZ funk comes to Bar 20, in Dalton, tomorrow night.

Promising teenage outfit Real Six will serve up a mixture of styles at the town centre bar.

The UVHS Sixth Form sextet – lining up as guitarist Connor Furness, drummer Dan Armstrong, Max O’Hara on bass and piano, and a brass section made up of George Pamenter, Patrick Rigg and Henry Moss – host the night. They play a variety of genres from chilled out ballads, old school big band jazz, funk, and maybe even a little ska, inspired by contemporary acts such as Average White Band and Trombone Shorty.

The show gets under way around 8pm and entrance is free.
