Hot tribute to Peppers

HOT Red Chili Peppers have a special intimate acoustic show in Barrow tonight, ahead of their headline show in Ulverston tomorrow.

The cunningly-named tribute to the Los Angeles funk rock outfit perform an acoustic show at a charity night at The Nines, in Dalkeith Street, to raise money for the Bluebell Foundation.

Collie Stewart will also be performing his solo set and there will also be an appearance from acoustic duo Harriet and Joe. And tomorrow, the full HRCP line-up take to the stage at the Coronation Hall, playing a full set featuring the famous hits Californication, Under the Bridge, Scar Tissue and By the Way, as well as material from the American outfit’s recent album I’m With You.

Support comes from local carnival drum band The Deatbeats and Torbay-based rock outfit Insonify.

The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the venue’s box office.
